Impact Systems offers document management products and solutions to companies in highly regulated industries that are required to follow strict adherence to compliance regulations. New regulations like Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and the Paper Reduction Act of 1995 have driven the need for regulated systems that manage documents for the purposes of compliance.
Not only does Impact Systems offer reliable, cost-effective solutions for the challenges facing these organizations, but they also provide invaluable subject matter expertise in the areas of pharmaceuticals, FDA submissions and SOX requirements.
Impact Systems had an existing Web site, but it didn’t clearly convey the company’s value proposition, which includes experienced staff, level of industry expertise, and proven implementation methodology.
Impact Systems wanted a Web site that would:
- Assert the company’s strengths: implementation, installation and migration of regulatory publishing solutions.
- Demonstrate their track record of successful implementations.
- Illustrate the breadth of the company’s knowledge in the area of regulatory publishing solutions and specific to the industries they serve.
- Convert “browsers” to qualified sales leads.
- Track site visitors to monitor the success of this endeavor.
First, ADI met with key members of the Impact Systems team to understand their business and their objectives for the site. Next, we developed an architecture that would lead site visitors to critical information needed during the decision-making process. Then we developed an eye-catching web site that all audiences could find compelling, whether they were a potential prospect or partner. We assisted the company in developing text that would communicate its intrinsic value, and set it apart from “commodity seekers”. Finally, we implemented Web Watch site analytics, which will enable Impact Systems to review the performance of individual pages within the site, and to identify where site visitors are coming from.
The site launched August 2006, and has been well received by both Impact Systems staff and prospects. Although it is still too soon to determine the site’s long-term effect on sales, the company plans give the site its full support and attention to ensure its success as a sales and marketing tool.
